Anti inflammatory Diet & Veggie Soup Recipe

Inflammation is our bodies natural process to isolate damaged tissues in our body to prevent disease or damage to spread to healthy tissues nearby.

However, certain foods that we eat like sugar cause massive damages to our body as sugar is like glass within the bloodstream. Causing major damage as it cycles through our blood. This then causes major inflammation and disease within our body.

Diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, and soooo much more can be directly connected to increased inflammation in our system.

Below I have listed some food no’s and yes’s for the anti inflammatory diet as well as my favorite veggie detox soup recipe!

Thyme

Rosemary

Turmeric powder

Fresh minced onion

Cabbage

Broccoli

Carrots

Zucchini

Green beans

Peppers- green, red, yellow, orange

Directions:

Add water, seasonings (salt free, turmeric, ginger, thyme, rosemary, nettle), minced garlic, onions, peppers, and celery to pot and boil for 5 mins rapidly then slow to a simmer.

Add in carrots and let cook for 10 mins, add in cabbage and broccoli next and let simmer with lid on for another 5 to 10 mins. Check for tenderness and add seasonings to taste.

Once everything is the nearly the desired tenderness add in your yellow squash and zucchini as it doesn’t take long for them to cook. You can actually simmer on low for about 2 to 3 minutes for it to finish with the lid securely on then remove from heat.

Let sit 20 mins then serve.

Enjoy
