Habits and Your Germs

Hey y’all let’s talk about the Microbiome and you.

Did you know that we have just as many microbes and bacteria on and within our body as human DNA cells? 1|1 ratio to be exact.

Yes. School of thought differs but the same applies that we are germy.

These germs help work congruently with our bodily functions to keep us protected, healthy, and well.

Well, there are some germs that cause disruption and disease.

A lot of those germs are introduced to us through the foods that we eat, the things that we indulge in (liquor, drugs, etc.), and what we put on our skin, hair, and nails (disruption to our pH and acid mantle).

When we think habits, we need to view it from a broader spectrum.

Learning about your microbiome (your unique bacterial composition on and within your body) will help you to truly understand why it is imperative to eat and do the things that will better support your microbiome and keep you healthy.

A lot of folks don’t realize how much our stomach, intestines, and liver depend on bacteria to digest nutrients from the foods that we eat to provide energy to our body.

Just imagine instead of eating healthy your diet consists of junk for energy. Just imagine the impact that has on your digestive system.

Diets full of high corn fructose syrup for adults and children lead to an influx of an inflammatory response due to all the trauma you are causing by the foods you consume.

Sugar to the blood stream is like glass going through and chopping it’s way through your veins and arteries. This damage triggers your immune systems natural response to treat the affected areas by inflaming the tissue to protect the non-damaged areas.

This influx of inflammation causes disease.

Your doctor’s, unless you have a great one, will not tell you this.

Great doctor’s will and in addition, they will refer you to a nutritionist to help you find a nutritional wellness plan that is right for you.

However, at the end of the day it is YOU who has to be honest about the habits you are addicted to and redefine them and make healthier decisions.

YOU. That is solely on you.

I say this with love. In 2023 KNOW THYSELF in all of your glory!

There isn’t an herb that can help you unless you first acknowledge, accept, and overcome yourselves.

A lot of mood disorders from Depression and Anxiety are linked to your gut.

Serotonin and Melatonin are produced in your gut and have a major effect on your Central Nervous System if you are eating foods that introduce bacteria that stunts the development of these hormones.

Eating can have a major effect on sleep irregularities and deprivation.

When it comes to herbs they absolutely can, OVERTIME, help to tone your body and support you but you must first SUPPORT YOURSELF.

Introducing Ashwagandha or Maca Root, which are currently popular, to a body that is not susceptible to herbs is in VAIN.

You have to first detox the impurities out of your system and don’t detox without knowing and fully committing to a nutritional wellness plan that’ll better fit your wellness needs.

Everyone can’t be vegan depending on your blood type, you may need some animal protein that’s not processed. But from local pasteurized vendors in your area. You have to find what works best for you. I typically advise clients to eat about 4 to 6 ounces of meat and learn how to rearrange your plate.

You have to train your palate. Meat does not have to be the primary dish. Rearrange your plate and have more vegetables than animal protein. Do that for a while and see how you feel. You will be surprised about how good you feel.

More health in 2023!
