The word ‘sin’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘khata’ which means to “to fail” or “to fall short” or “to miss the goal”.
In Greece the word was used in reference to the act of ignorance. Described as one’s disservice to themselves by not living up to their true essence.
Ezekial 18:20 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” Sounds like a great deal of accountability for your actions and your choices in life.
And we see it ring true every day.
You do the crime; you do the time.
You suck with finances; you lose it all.
You eat unhealthily; you welcome in DIS- EASE.
You lie; you lose the ones that you love.
You lack the ability to love, you won’t see/reciprocate/feel/receive it.
You give up on you, you fail yourself. You fail to tap into the destiny that God ordained for you. That’s a disservice to not only you, but the World because each and everyone of us were created to do something MAJOR.
What I don’t know but whatever it is it’s yours and it’s out there waiting for you. And I ain’t talking riches but it could come too.
Nothing is more enriching than peace within and being a reflection for others to see your light and feel it ignite the light within you.
Heaven and hell are within the mind. And we have to find a way to rise above the noise of the world telling us differently.
It’s loud and it’s extremely hard but God gifted us with the power of WILL. And as long as there is a WILL there is a WAY. We will make it though so that we can rise within. You have to go through.
I say all that to say I refuse to live into the ideal that you have to live through hell and find balance within the hell that you create IN YOUR OWN MIND in order to find peace in a Heaven after you have died.
I refuse to believe that.
Especially when I know that you can CHOOSE TO LIVE IN HEAVEN while here on Earth.
With peace within your soul, your mind, your heart, and your surroundings.
You can not ignore the work that you must do within. You are the question and the answer.
